Jodie Turner-Smith Joins Spy Drama ‘The Agency’ from Showtime

Jodie Turner-Smith has been announced as the latest addition to the cast of the upcoming espionage series “The Agency” on Paramount+ with Showtime. She will star alongside Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, and Richard Gere in this adaptation of the French series “Le Bureau des Legendes.”

Nina L. Diaz, president of content and chief creative officer for Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios & Paramount Media Networks, praised Turner-Smith, saying, “Jodie Turner-Smith is a force who captivates audiences with her raw, emotional power. We are thrilled she is joining our extraordinary cast alongside Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, and Richard Gere.”

The series centers around Martian (played by Michael Fassbender), a covert CIA agent who is ordered to leave his undercover life and return to London Station. Upon his return, he reconnects with a past love, reigniting romance amidst the complexities of espionage and international intrigue. His career, true identity, and mission become entangled with matters of the heart, throwing them both into a perilous game of espionage.

“The Agency” promises to deliver high-stakes drama and intense storytelling as it navigates the intersections of personal relationships and professional espionage.
