The Poco F8 series was unveiled globally today at an event held in Bali, Indonesia. During the same event, the company also announced the Poco Pad X1 and the Pad M1.
The Pad X1 comes with an 11.2-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, 800 nits peak brightness, and 3.2K resolution. The display also supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, and a Sunlight mode.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and offers Wi-Fi 6E as well as Bluetooth 5.4.
Poco has included a 13MP camera at the back, and an 8MP unit on the front. The Pad X1 features an 8,850mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
It gets quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support and an IR blaster. The tablet uses an all-metal unibody design and is available in Blue and Grey color options. It is 6.18mm thin and weighs 500g.
The Poco Pad M1 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It supports storage expansion via a microSD card.
The Pad M1 gets a larger 12.1-inch LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 2.5K resolution, and up to 600 nits brightness (HBM). The display offers Dolby Vision and a Sunlight mode as well.
It offers an 8MP rear facing camera, and another 8MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. The tablet comes with a large 12,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
Other specs include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, HyperOS 2 with AI features, and quad-speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The Poco Pad M1 will also be sold in Blue and Grey colors. It measures 7.5mm thin and weighs 610g.
The Poco Pad X1 comes in a single 8GB/512GB variant priced at $349, while the Pad M1 gets a price tag of $279 for its sole 8GB/256GB model. These are early-bird prices of course, and once the offer ends, the X1 will retail for $399 and the M1 for $329.
Poco has also introduced a new Floating Keyboard accessory for the Pad X1, priced at $199. Other accessories such as a Cover, a standard Keyboard, and the Poco Focus Pen are also available for both tablets.
