- Kalshi scores another high-level media partnership
- Its prediction markets data will be featured on multiple Fox cable outlets
- Another Murdoch-owned media company has an agreement with Polymarket
Fox Corp. (NASDAQ: FOXA) and Kalshi announced today that the prediction market operator’s data will be featured on some of the media company’s popular cable news channels, including FOX News.

In addition to FOX News, which is the highest-rated cable news channel in the US, Kalshi data will be displayed on the FOX Business Network, FOX Weather and the FOX One platform. Financial terms of the Kalshi/Fox partnership weren’t disclosed.
As part of this sponsored integration, relevant Kalshi data will be incorporated into FOX’s linear and digital content. Kalshi will also work directly with FOX data and production teams to provide real-time data access for seamless data visualization around key political, economic, weather and cultural storylines,” according to a statement issued by the yes/no exchange.
New York-based Kalshi was recently valued at $22 billion and is the largest prediction market operating in the US.
In Cable News, Kalshi Is Covering Its Political Bases
FOX News is viewed as a right-leaning cable news outlook, but Kalshi isn’t playing political games. Rather, its partnership with cable news network and its sister stations is about generating exposure. Kalshi is also playing both sides of the aisle with its cable news deals.
In December, the prediction market operator unveiled an agreement with CNN, which is widely considered a left-leaning outlet. Speaking of Kalshi’s deal with CNN, the network isn’t paying the exchange for use of its data, but there’s reportedly an exclusivity clause between the two parties and it’s not clear how that will be affected by the Fox deal.
What is clear is that FOX News is a credible platform through which Kalshi can potentially expand its reach and data confirm as much.
“Currently the number one network in all of cable, FOX News Channel has also been the most watched television news channel for 24 consecutive years, while FOX Business Network is the top business channel on cable,” said Kalshi in the statement. “Owned by Fox Corporation, FOX News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month and is also available to live stream on FOX One, FOX’s wholly-owned, direct to consumer streaming platform.”
Murdoch Properties Partnering with Prediction Market Rivals
Just as Kalshi is agnostic when it comes to political proclivities of its cable news partners, some media entities with ties to each other are displaying a willingness to partner with multiple prediction market firms.
News of the cable deal with Kalshi emerged about three months after News Corp. (NASDAQ: NWS) inked a deal with Polymarket to feature that prediction market operator’s data on The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Investor’s Business Daily MarketWatch, Mansion Global, Financial News, Risk & Compliance, and Dow Jones Newswires.
Though they are separate publicly traded entities, Fox Corp. and News Corp. are both controlled by the Murdoch family.
